The 24th Fighter Squadron is a critical component of the 12th Battle Group, responsible for providing aerial support to the battle group. The squadron is composed of highly skilled pilots who fly a variety of light and medium, and heavy fighters, and are trained in combat air patrol (CAP), escort, interdiction, and strike missions.
